HOLIDAY HOUSES
Below are
the leasing and cancellation terms of Hannikkala Holiday Houses;
the terms become binding on both parties once the customer has
paid the reservation fee referred to herein by the due date.
Fee
For reservations of 1–3 days the reservation fee is 100% of the
total amount. For reservations exceeding 3 days the reservation
fee is 20% of the total amount, with payment of the remaining
sum 30 days prior to the arrival date. If the reservation is made
later than 30 days prior to the start of the lease period, the
full rent must be paid without delay.
Customer’s
right to cancellation
In the event of cancellation the reservation fee paid shall be
withheld as the cancellation fee.
If the cancellation takes place no later than 30 days prior to
intended arrival, the reservation fee paid shall be withheld as
the cancellation fee. In the event of acute and severe illness,
accident or death befalling the customer or a close relative living
in the same household, the customer shall be entitled to a refund
of the rent, less the reservation fee, for cancellations taking
place later than 30 days prior to the lease start date. In such
cases a medical certificate is required. Cancellations after arrival
shall not entitle the customer to a refund.
Hannikkala
Holiday Houses’ right to cancellation
Hannikkala Holiday Houses shall be entitled to cancel the agreement
if the customer fails to pay the reservation fee or the rent by
the due date.
In the event
of force majeure the customer shall be entitled to receive a full
refund.
The
stay at the cabin
The rent includes free use of the cabin. The price includes furniture,
tableware, blankets and pillows, a rowing boat and firewood. All
linen must be brought by the customer. The customer is responsible
for cleaning the cabin during and at the end of the lease period.
If the customer checks out without cleaning the cabin, a cleaning
fee shall be charged in accordance with the price list. Smoking
is prohibited inside the cabin. The cabin is available to the
customer from 3 p.m. on the arrival date to 12 noon on the checkout
date.
Compensation
for damages
The customer is responsible for reporting and compensating any
damages caused to the cabin and movable property by the customer.
Number
of guests
The cabin is only available to the number of people for which
the reservation was made. Additional overnight guests must be
agreed separately.
Complaints
Any complaints regarding the holiday house must be made directly
to the lessor without delay.
